Why We Built BalochDev the Way We Did

From a small idea in Balochistan to a remote-first software and AI studio building products for the world.

In 2024, I started BalochDev because I was tired of seeing talent from our region treated as an afterthought in the global technology industry.

There was no shortage of ambition, creativity, or technical potential. What was missing was the opportunity to turn that potential into products that people could actually use.

I wanted to build something different: a software studio that could deliver world-class digital products to international clients while investing in something much closer to home—the future of the Balochi language in technology.

That idea became BalochDev.

Our founding principle was simple: every engagement should lead to software in production, and every month of client work should help advance Balochi language technology.

We didn't want to build a company that only talked about innovation. We wanted to build things, ship them, learn from real users, and make a lasting contribution.

Our Philosophy: Ship Real Software

We believe the value of software is measured by what it accomplishes in the real world.

A beautiful design is only the beginning. A promising prototype is not the finish line. The real work is turning an idea into a reliable product that people can use, businesses can depend on, and teams can continue to improve.

That's why we approach projects with a production-first mindset.

From web applications and mobile products to AI-powered platforms and custom business systems, our focus is on delivering complete solutions. We work across planning, design, development, integration, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.

We also believe that good engineering requires honest communication. Not every idea needs a complicated architecture, an enormous budget, or the latest technology. Sometimes the best solution is the simplest one that solves the problem well.

Our job is to understand what you want to achieve and help you build the right thing.

How AI Changed the Way We Work

As BalochDev grew, so did the way we build software.

AI agents and tools such as Claude Code became part of our everyday engineering workflow. They help us explore unfamiliar codebases, accelerate implementation, generate and review code, investigate problems, and shorten the feedback loops between planning, building, and testing.

But adopting AI was never about replacing engineering judgment.

We use AI to accelerate the work, not to outsource responsibility.

Senior engineers remain responsible for architecture, technical decisions, code quality, security, and the behavior of the final product. AI can help us move faster, but speed without judgment can create more problems than it solves.

Our approach is to combine capable engineers, modern tools, clear processes, and careful review. The result is a studio that can work efficiently without treating quality as an optional extra.

We are building an AI-native studio, not simply adding AI to our marketing.

A Team Built Around Ownership

Behind every product is a group of people who make the decisions, solve the difficult problems, and take responsibility for the outcome.

Today, BalochDev has a core team of more than 14 people and a network of over 20 senior specialists we can bring into projects when their expertise is needed.

Our capabilities span software engineering, web and mobile development, AI integration, product design, and content.

We work remotely, collaborate across time zones, and organize our work to keep projects moving without requiring everyone to be in the same room.

This model allows us to work with international clients while building opportunities for talented people in and beyond our region.

We value long-term collaboration over short-term appearances. A strong team is not just a list of skills; it is a group of people who understand the work, communicate clearly, and care about what they deliver.

Our Journey: From 2024 to an AI-Native Studio

2024 — The Beginning

BalochDev began with a dual mission: deliver high-quality web, mobile, and software solutions for international clients while helping bring Balochi language technology into mainstream digital experiences.

We started building relationships, taking on projects, and establishing the engineering practices that would shape the company.

2025 — Partnerships and Expansion

As our network grew, partnerships with Balochi Academy and the Taheer team became part of our language-technology journey. Work on Balochi keyboard and Office-related initiatives helped connect our software capabilities with a larger cultural and linguistic purpose.

At the same time, our product development expanded into mobile applications, AI-assisted workflows, and more complex digital experiences.

2026 — Building With AI at the Core

By 2026, AI-assisted engineering had become a central part of how we work.

Our stack and infrastructure increasingly incorporated technologies such as Supabase and Cloudflare, alongside production-oriented AI workflows and modern web and mobile frameworks.

We continued to improve our delivery process while accelerating our research into Balochi language technology.

The objective remained the same: build useful products, deliver them responsibly, and make our work count beyond the immediate project.

Working With the World From Balochistan

BalochDev is a remote-first custom software studio based in Balochistan, working with clients across international markets.

Since 2024, we have completed more than 80 projects, serving businesses and teams in markets including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

Remote collaboration allows us to work across time zones, maintain focused development cycles, and bring together the right expertise for each engagement.

We also value the human side of business. When a project benefits from face-to-face collaboration, we are open to meeting partners in places including Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Iran, Russia, and Balochistan.

Geography should not determine the quality of an idea or the ambition of the people building it.

We want BalochDev to demonstrate that a team can build from Balochistan and contribute to products used around the world.

Why Balochi Language Technology Matters to Us

For us, Balochi is not simply another language to add to a product's settings.

It is a language with its own literature, oral traditions, music, history, and communities. Like many languages underserved by mainstream technology, it deserves better representation in the digital world.

When languages are missing from modern software, their speakers face barriers to accessing information, creating content, and participating fully in emerging technologies.

We believe the future should be different.

Our long-term mission is to help make Balochi a language people can use naturally across digital tools—from keyboards and productivity software to AI assistants, creative platforms, and emerging language technologies.

This work requires more than building an interface. It calls for research, collaboration, language resources, cultural understanding, and sustained investment.

Our commercial software work helps us develop the engineering capabilities and resources needed to pursue that mission. We want the relationship between the two to remain meaningful: global products create opportunities, and those opportunities help us invest in technology that serves our community.

Products That Reflect Our Mission

Two of our major products represent different sides of our vision.

Bezan AI — Multilingual AI for Everyone

Bezan AI is our all-in-one AI platform designed to bring multiple capabilities into a single experience.

It brings together AI chat, image generation, video creation, background removal, file conversion, and other productivity tools, with a particular focus on Balochi alongside languages such as Persian, Arabic, Urdu, and English.

Our goal is to make useful AI capabilities more accessible while giving underserved languages a more meaningful place in the AI ecosystem.

SUROZ AI — Creativity Across Languages

SUROZ AI explores another important question: what happens when AI-powered creativity is designed with more languages and cultural traditions in mind?

Our AI music-generation project aims to help people create music across languages, including those that mainstream creative tools may not adequately support.

It remains under active development, with the broader ambition of making AI-powered musical expression more accessible to diverse linguistic and cultural communities.

Both products reflect the same belief: technology should expand what people can create, express, and achieve—not restrict those possibilities to a handful of dominant languages.

What We Believe About the Future of Software

The technology industry is moving quickly. AI is changing how software is designed, developed, tested, and experienced.

But we believe a few principles will remain important regardless of which tools become popular.

Build for real needs. Take ownership of the outcome. Use technology thoughtfully. Respect the people who will use the product. Be honest about limitations. Keep improving after launch.

We also believe the next generation of technology should be more inclusive of the languages and communities that have historically received less attention.

That is the future we want to help build.

BalochDev will continue developing web, mobile, and AI products for international clients while investing in our own ideas and advancing Balochi language technology.

We know there is still a great deal of work ahead. We are comfortable with that. Meaningful progress takes time, consistency, and people who care enough to keep going.

A Note From Our Founder

I am proudest of the people behind BalochDev and the trust our clients place in us.

The team, our collaborators, our partners, and the people who encourage us to keep building have made this journey possible. Every project has taught us something. Every challenge has pushed us to improve.

If you have read this far, thank you for taking an interest in what we are building.

If you have an idea you want to turn into a real product, tell us about it. We will listen, ask the necessary questions, and tell you honestly whether we can help.

And if you believe that languages like Balochi deserve a stronger place in the digital future, we hope you will follow our journey.

We started BalochDev to prove that talent from our region can build for the world—and that doing so can also create something meaningful for our own community.

We are here to build useful software, work with good people, and make technology more inclusive, one product at a time.
